GOAL 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Why do I have to do these challenges?
Ending poverty by 2030 in the world is a priority. According to the United Nations More than 700 million people, or 10 per cent of the world population, still live in extreme poverty today. Although we believe that the population living in extreme poverty is far from us, the truth is that they are closer than they seem. Some people we know, such as a neighbor, are likely to live without sufficient resources to make it to the end of the month.
It’s not just about big families or old people. United Nations says that young workers are twice as likely to be living in extreme poverty as adult workers (2019). For this reason, the challenges we have prepared for you in this SDG are very different. We want this action to reach as many people as possible!
